When it rains...
it certainly does pour. So, I have a shortage of funds, my computer is about to take a dump, and what would make it worse… “We do not feel you fit in with the team” at work, and thus, well… Anyone looking for a web programmer? Here are some highlight from my career…
• Sat on the Internet Engineer Taskforce, HTML specs committee.
• One of the first to implement multi-lingual website design.
• Created real-time, targeted ad insertion into streaming media.
• Founding member of WebRadio.com.
• Managed the development the streaming protocol used on G3 & G3.5 cell phones (Java Software written for the Intel/Embaze chip codename Armstrong)
• Created internet data-mining sites, managed 250 million tracking data streams daily.
And of course you are looking at my current project.
Have you ever noticed that bad things (and only occassionally good things) seem to happen in threes? In my case, I usually catch thre sets of threes, so I guess I have a bit more to go until I can get things together. Interestingly, I can see what three more may be, and I just hope my Karnak is way off.
