Sensualist In Me
Today I had one of those urges to make my sleeping accommodations better. For the longest time I have had the same set of comforters and pillows and such and they were comfortable, but I went out and got new sets of sheets (320 TC), more pillows and two new comforters.
If you know me, you know I am a sensualist at heart, and being that way I do like to surround myself with comfortable things. So, since I had a very good week driving and on the side, I treated myself to some new comforts. Maybe I spent too much, maybe not, but all I know is that I am calling it a late holiday present.
Now all I need are more wall coverings, some better indirect lighting, remotes for the lighting, a new media center for the bedroom, some incense burners, a fridge for the bedroom, and about 100 more pillows and my private seraglio will be complete. Then, of course there are the attendant sybarites. Any takers?
(OK, so I mixed Italian and Greek references, they are close enough. But there are no good words in English that don’t sound absurd.)
