A TrackBack is a way for websites to talk to each other. Say a person on website A (the blogger) wants someone on website B to know something, you set a TrackBack ping and that let the other website know there is something there to look at. Simple.

Masterful genius, I do think you might be referring to Trillian. I have utilized this interface IM a great deal for many years and love many aspects of it including , but not limited to the transparent look (which incidently is going to be one of the features of the Microsoft's Longhorn OS). I also enjoy the fact that I didn't have to download AOL AIM to my computer b/c each time I did that I was getting a ton of viruses; however, the school I was attending online insisted that we communicate with the AOL AIM. It is certainly a nice compromise.... and I love the new updated look it is getting as time goes by.
I am also so very much enjoying the work you have put into this site. It is coming along quite well.

Katey... the software was not intended for everyone to have their own site. For that you would have to purchase the domain and such. But, I can twist this softwares arm and give you your own blog look and feel to control. I am still working on a safe way of implimenting this however so you can do it without disturbing other peoples blogs along the way.
I am seeing that it is hard enough to get people to upload images to thier own directories, getting every one to be sure they post to their own blogs could be more difficult.
Working on it, I haven't forgetten.
