I have found a persistant bug the will not be fixed any time soon. If you put a list next to a floating image the list will overlap the image if it is too close. I think this is a CSS bug... I will have to look into it more

Well, I broke the side bar with nested catagories... Ooops. I do not think the author of the template ever tested this, so it will be for me to fix and hope I can get it right.

A quick update... I got the adult content worked out and do not bother checking ages... I will instead force all people to register to view the content with a bi warning about the adult content. If you choose to logon and o anyway, then they are the ones breaking the rules. So be it... I have no obligation to screen out minors, therefore I will do what I can and be done with it.
So, if you come to the site anonymously you will see the "Adult Content" warnings all over the place and that is just fine and the solution I can go with until I can get the other issues solved.
Added a ton more catagories...
Got to fix the side bar

Well, I really broke the template in IE... I am going to go to a table layour for now because I am spending way too much time hand tweeking the CSS. It is all I can do to get this up and running fast. I will go back later and do it as CSS when I get a chance.
On another interesting note... I got the entries to display the authors avatar next to the entry. Not necessary, but it looks good...

OK, I know the comments page looks like shit, but I have not even touched the template for the comments.... But here is what I did get accomplished today:
1) I eliminated half the CSS because I am moving away from it anyway. I kept the good stuff that I was using for the header, but most of the other stuff... trash since it was interferring with lists... gone gone gone
2) I added a new intro text. After today I suspect there will be people looking for a new loging site and I wanted to have something ready for them as they arrived... to at least lt them know that this site was still in the works.
3) Deleted the old blog listings and sidebar since the CSS was one from it anyway... what the hell.
Back to work
