Welcome back... missed you too... It has been an interesting month for me, some good, some bad, and now I feel like I am missing a lover. There may be good things on the horizon, but for now, I am alone.

Oh well.

Everything for a reason; a reason for everything - and, yet, are we never to ask why? I live for the moment at this time and continue working on my goals at hand while waiting for my mystery love to know it is I that cares.

Knowing the feelings you eminate, having felt them before myself, I certainly send you all my hugs to you and a kiss on the forehead to tell you that everything will be okay.

Someday we will be able to see our pathways and know truly how we are all destined to be, aside from the hurdles we cross along the way.

I hope and pray that your loneliness feelings will subside as you move forward to achieve your goals and live a victorious life while waiting that special someone to blend into your life as well.

Always,

TxRose

ps I understand your feelings of loneliness that you are experiencing all too well. After all, this very week, I have successfully pushed out a roommate (my friend's son), albeit he thinks that this decision was all his; and, my daughter, has started spending much more time with her new boyfriend. The apartment's noises are quite different now; it is just Leo (the cat) and myself.

Besides the normal activities I do, I have had my freedom at the apartment and have managed to re-arrange each room differently (room by room) in accordance to the way I would have it; yet, missing the sounds of those coming and going out of the apartment. Oh, well.

This, too, shall pass - right???? I continue to practice what I wish and pray for others. smile

Laters.

Jeff: How come my last two comments are decending and not ascending? Just curious.

Not sure why, I do know that is you open a window and comment (then not finish) and open another comment (and finish that one first) the first will post first since the time stamp is recorded on the form.

The same hold true with posts (it has happened to me) that I start a long post and someone posts while I am working o the long post, the post that was started first posts first, the the second one posts over it. Now here is the weird thing... The second post will show up and display normal, then when the original first post hits, it is buried one deep already.

Annoying, but makes sense.

Excepting, the posts were done totally separate and in the order that they posted. So, it doesn't make sense at all. Really wierd.

Why ask why? Choose Bud Dry? But seriously... I have only been in one relationship where there was drift like that, so I am by no means an expert. In this case, I drifted right into the arms of another woman. The woman I drifted away from dated another of my friends and subsequently went certifiably insane. I then learned my greatest life lesson: naver date anyone my friend Josh dates.
But back to a more serious tack... It seems to me that for a relationship to end with a whimper and not a bang is a terrible thing. It is even more upsetting when you are the one left on the shores and the other person is the one who has drifted away for whatever reason. Who is to blame? If it's me, do I go into a depressive melancholic state? If it's her, do I rant and rave, then grieve? Or do I just sit back, pop in a Jackie Chan DVD and drown my ambivilence in a six-pack? As for staying friends with ex-lovers... don't ask me. Most of mine are out of state, or in a state of insanity... Brink in the head

Yes, it is sad, and it is no-ones fault, it is just circumstances. Will there be others? Will I find ultimate happiness? Only time will tell...

Kate, there are times I know exactly what you mean, and I can feel your pain. Looks like the sentiments are likewise.
