Having taken classical piano lessons since 3rd grade, I would have to agree with you. Many of the finest concertos have the best visuals for the mind to play with. I would often entertain myself at our recitals when people would play various. What sort of music, do you suppose, would be played out to the Ann Rice Beauty books???

Well, if I were to place a score beind AR's Beauty series, I would have to use Bach, Torelli, Vivaldi, Albononi, Teleman, and Scarlatti... Don't you think that would work well?

And don't forget Pachabel and Montiverdi... Oh and for sure, you must remember to include Calasini... his work would be perfect and uses heavy recorder as primary instrument...

Not as familiar with those... I chose much of the Baroque Classical type of music as a rule; however, I am sure you are correct....
Got me curious; I am going to have to check out the other greats you have mentioned!!
