Don't Cry Out
The lights are down low,
Nothing but the candles’ glow,
Slowly we become entangled,
The sheets totally mangled.
But we have to be quiet as a mouse,
The kids are still in the house,
As passion comes to our lips,
Not a sound can we let slip.
We both want to cry out,
We have to scream it, shout,
Still there are those in the next room,
Quiet we stay, like a tomb.
Can we control the passion,
Can we remember the previous lesson,
When we gave it our best try,
And failed to not scream and cry?
Still we bite the sound so hard,
The silence of the house not marred,
Except for the sounds of thrusting,
Controlling, never rushing.
Even as lust reaches its’ peak,
Not a groan or moan has leaked,
Slowly we ease back on the linens,
Grateful for our new found disciplines.
Another night of silent love has passed,
We both know it will not be the last,
Until the children are fully grown,
Our cover will never be blown.
