EYZ, I was only partially joking about taking the computers away, I do know that the answer starts with more responsible parents. But when examining situations for answers sometimes it is good to look at the extremes to set the means.
As for the online child molesters caught by NBC, I want you to think about this. Suppose kids could not access the Internet and get caught up in these pervs webs. What do you think would happen? The answer is simple and scary, the kids would get caught up with other more real molesters closer to home and it would not be reported. In fact the incidence of molestation may well increase because of the lack of reporting. In the "Real World" molestation go unreported far more than anyone cares to admit, we have just gotten used to it. NBC has caught a small glimpse of a terrible trend of social networking. Could you imagine how many they would catch if they could figure out a way of rooting out IRL molestions? That is a real scary thought. In the grand scheme of things they have caught a few pervs, but it is an unfortuanate drop in the bucket.
