A TrackBack is a way for websites to talk to each other. Say a person on website A (the blogger) wants someone on website B to know something, you set a TrackBack ping and that let the other website know there is something there to look at. Simple.

You make my point exactly, equality in ability... but while we are at it, let's not give up our gender identities.
LOike I said, if a woman is qualified for a position (or a man is qualified for a position) normally thought to be tradistionally held by the opposite gender, they should get the position. But at the same time, let's not loose our gender identity to fill the position.

I have to tell you that you had me squirming in my chair with this one. I thought that the traditional gender role was long gone. I am far from being a womans libber, but I do believe that when a woman or man is qualified for a position, whether it be traditionally held by the opposite sex, it should become theirs because of their qualifications. I don't believe that woman become more manly to acheive a mans (traditional) role or visa versa.
I do believe that we are all created equal whether we are treated that way or not. There are certain things that are set aside for each gender that the other cannot do but those are things that you cannot do without a member of the opposite sex.....
